FINGER NUMBERING

Before we start playing your piano, let us give each of your fingers a name or a number. RIGHT HAND fingers are numbered as shown.

THUMB          ----- ONE

POINT FINGER ----- TWO

MIDDLE FINGER ----- THREE

RING FINGER ----- FOUR

LITTLE FINGER ----- FIVE

And if we use your LEFT HAND, the numbering starts where your little finger (pinky) is 1, your ring finger is 2, your middle finger is 3, point finger is 4 and your thumb is number 5. Again, practice moving each fingers of your LEFT HAND, as you say its number aloud.
