YOUR FIRST SONG

OK, here is your first song. Let your RIGHT HAND play the numbers in each measure. Try to play it slowly but smoothly. Practice the song until your fingers feel very confident with the keyboard.

You may glance once in a while but don’t look at your hands at all times while you are playing each note. And remember the tilde (~), every tilde counts as an extra note.

After playing the exercise, try guessing the title of your first song? If your answer is “ Love Me Tender”, you are definitely correct. Elvis Presley made this song popular.
